Here’s the brief…
We were approached by a highly profitable global oil and gas company and asked to co-ordinate their employment law advice at an international level. The client employs over 4,000 people internationally and needed to harmonise its approach to employee relations across national boundaries.

And here’s how it was accomplished…
Our lawyers worked closely with the client’s human resources team, its in-house legal department and various overseas law firms to provide consistent employment law advice. The advice spanned across jurisdictions as diverse as Singapore, Australia, Kazakhstan, Norway, Brazil and various offshore locations.

The task involved a detailed understanding of the client company, its business and its employment ethos. This enabled us to offer advice consistent with the client’s business requirements and execute the client’s chosen route.
