Event Details: Sickness absence is a big issue for businesses, especially as significant costs are associated with high levels of employee absence. Managing sickness absence is a permanent hot potato for HR managers everywhere.
Gareth Kervin will provide a practical guide to help you develop a systematic approach to dealing with both long-term and persistent short-term absence. He will provide advice on how to deal with absences whilst avoiding unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and potential employee benefits based claims.
